Report warns fans that Spurs will make ‘blockbuster’ big-money sale this summer

Football Insider have reported that Tottenham are now destined to make a blockbuster big-money sale this summer due to the effects of COVID-19 on the club.

Although Spurs recently opened one of the best money-making stadiums in world football, it has been lying dormant as UK crowds remain banned from such events.

Back in November, Spurs chairman, Daniel Levy predicted that the club would lose around £150m throughout the 2020/21 season if the stadium remained shut. The Lilywhites recently announced losses of £63.9m in a financial report.

Unfortunately, apart from opening for a small number of fans in the North London Derby, that has remained the case.

Football Insider claim that a source at Tottenham has warned fans that there may be at least one big-money sale this summer, even if Spurs finish in the top four.

Spurs fans will just be hoping to see the club hold onto Heung-min Son and Harry Kane as they continue to push for silverware.
