Report: West Ham are interested in signing player who only left Spurs last year

According to Dirilis Postasi, West Ham United are plotting a move for former Tottenham centre-back Davinson Sanchez.

Sanchez, who joined Spurs from Ajax back in 2017, spent six years at the North London club before making a move to Galatasaray last summer.

The centre-back has been flawless for the Turkish side and it has now emerged that his performances at Istambul have caught the attention of the Hammers.

This is what is being reported by Dirilis Postasi, who say that Sanchez could be ‘on his way to England again’ just 12 months on from leaving Spurs.

West Ham are interested in Davinson Sanchez

The report says that David Moyes’ men have already shown interest in signing the Colombian ahead of the summer window, with the East London club allegedly willing to pay around €15m (£12.8m) for his services.

However, it is said that Galatasaray will start negotiations at €25m (£21.4m) and are hoping to get a figure of close to €20m (£17.1m) for the 27-year-old.

Spurs Web Opinion

I was quite surprised when Sanchez moved to Galatasaray last summer as I felt the Colombian could play at a much higher level. While it will not be nice to see him in West Ham colours, he deserves another crack at the Premier League.
