Report: West Ham player could scupper Dele’s chance of potential Spurs exit

The Daily Express claims that Dele Alli may not get a summer move to Paris Saint-Germain since the French giants could instead make an approach for West Ham’s Manuel Lanzini.

Dele has experienced the most difficult season of his Spurs career, making just two Premier League starts so far this campaign.

The midfielder was heavily linked with a reunion with Mauricio Pochettino at PSG during the January transfer window but the transfer reportedly collapsed due to Spurs’ failure to bring in a replacement.

It has since been rumoured that Jose Mourinho wanted the England international to leave in January and was not pleased with chairman Daniel Levy for deciding to hang on to the midfielder.

However, The Express claim that Pochettino may decide against a second approach for Dele in the summer, since the former Tottenham boss is said to be keen on signing Lanzini instead.

It is revealed that the Parisians showed interest in Hammers star during January and could decide test West Ham’s resolve in the summer.

Dele looks certain to leave Spurs in the summer if Mourinho is still in charge going into next season. I do not see him getting too much game time in the remaining fixtures this season due to the form of Moura and Lamela.
