Report: What PL club have told Spurs about deadline day deal for 26-year-old

Journalist Dean Jones has revealed in his column on GiveMeSport that Bournemouth have issued a hands-off warning to Tottenham Hotspur over Dominic Solanke.

Solanke has been one of the best strikers on show across the Premier League this season and his displays have allegedly caught the attention of Ange Postecoglou’s men.

A couple of days ago, The Sun claimed that the Lilywhites are considering a sensational late swoop for the England international, suggesting that the North London side would be prepared to pay over £50m to land the striker.

However, this claim was dismissed subsequently by Ben Jacobs, who insisted that Solanke is not one of the options on Spurs’ wishlist at the moment.

Bournemouth are in no mood for a late Solanle deal

Jones has now said that the Cherries have no intention of letting their star striker leave the club on transfer deadline day, having informed Spurs that they have ‘no chance’ of any deal.

He adds that the South Coast club value Solanke at £80m at this stage of the window, which is well beyond what Tottenham can spend.

Finally, the journalist asserts that his sources are telling him Bournemouth are not even willing to speak to anyone who wants to sign the striker before the 11 pm deadline day.

One can understand why Andoni Iraola’s men would not entertain an offer for Solanke so late in the window, with no time left to bring in a suitable replacement.
