Report: What Spurs are willing to offer Real Madrid for Gareth Bale return

Tottenham Hotspur reportedly want to bring Gareth Bale back to North London in January, over six years after he left Spurs for sunny Spain.

However, few Tottenham fans could argue with the Welshman’s decision, as he went on to win four Champions League trophies with Real Madrid. He was a part of the team that managed to win an unprecedented three in a row.

Bale left Spurs back in 2013 after playing 203 games and scoring 55 goals for the Lilywhites. In his last two seasons alone, Bale managed to rack up 38 goals (Wikipedia).

Since joining Real, Bale has managed 104 goals in 244 games, although he has never yet beaten his first season tally of 22 goals back in 2013/14.

El Desmarque have now reported that Tottenham want to use current wantaway star, Christian Eriksen, to lure Bale back to London.

Levy is apparently willing to offer Madrid Eriksen plus £25.7m to bring the Welshman back to his old club.
