Report: What Zidane has told Real Madrid hierarchy about Gareth Bale

According to Defensa Central, Zinedine Zidane has made it clear to Real Madrid supremo, Fiorentino Perez that he does not want Gareth Bale back at the club next season no matter how well the Welshman does at Spurs.

Bale has shown plenty of signs of coming back into form over recent weeks and now appears to have played himself into Jose Mourinho’s starting eleven.

AS previously reported that the Real Madrid hierarchy have been delighted to see Bale’s form improve as they are keen to move him on at the end of the season in order to remove his salary from their wage bill.

The Daily Mirror suggested earlier this week that Bale is open to extending his loan spell at Spurs but will only make a decision on his future at the end of the season.

Defensa Central now claim that Zidane told Perez that he does not want the 31-year-old back even if he bags 30 goals at Spurs this season.

The report claims that Los Blancos are hoping to sell the winger for around €20m-€30m next summer so that they can pursue a deal for Paris Saint-Germain superstar Kylian Mbappe.

While Bale would want to continue playing football next season instead of warming the Real Madrid bench, the winger is also unlikely to take a wage cut which he would have to if Madrid are looking to sell him permanently.

So, another loan deal is the most likely scenario and a return to Spurs would certainly be on the cards for the Welshman if he continues his current vein of form.
