Report: When 13 Spurs players will return to pre-season training

Tottenham’s new head coach, Nuno Espirito Santo has been hard at work at Hotspur Way for the past week with a number of Spurs youngsters and first-team members.

Those not involved in any internationals during the summer were back to the club for pre-season, with the next batch of players now on the horizon.

Football London have reported that Heung-min Son is expected back at Hotspur Way early this week, with Serge Aurier sometime soon after.

Troy Parrott returned to pre-season with the U23 side last week but will move up to the first-team training sessions with Nuno this week.

Oliver Skipp and Japhet Tanganga have also both reportedly returned to outdoor work following their respective injuries.

After that, Spurs will look towards the Euro 2020 and Copa America players, who are entitled to 21 days rest following the end of their international involvement.

Ben Davies and Joe Rodon are expected back on July 23, with Hugo Lloris and Moussa Sissoko soon after. Harry Kane, Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg, Davinson Sanchez and Giovani Lo Celso will reportedly not return until a week before the new season.

Spurs Web Opinion:

I was hoping that Spurs would have sorted far more sales and purchases by now. It feels as if the squad is still going to be moving around even when the season starts, which could make things difficult.
