Report: When the Spurs players return for pre-season training

Tottenham Hotspur may have enjoyed one of the biggest seasons in the club’s history last time out, but they will be hungry to come back even stronger for the next campaign.

With pre-season tour dates in Singapore, Shanghai, and Germany already pencilled in for July, it won’t be long before the first team starts filtering back in.

But when exactly will the Tottenham players return to North London?

Football London have reported that the senior squad will start returning between July 8 and July 15.

Some academy stars will return a little earlier than this, but those who stayed late last season to assist with Champions League training have been handed some extra time off.

Serge Aurier and Victor Wanyama will probably return to pre-season late as the African Cup of Nations does not end until July 19.

Juan Foyth and Davidson Sanchez are also competing in the Copa America, which ends on July 7, but it depends how far Argentina and Colombia go.

Ben Davies should return to full training during pre-season after his surgery earlier this month.

Spurs Web Opinion:

I for one cannot wait to see some new signings integrated into the squad early on in pre-season. It feels as if a lot of the time, Daniel Levy secures his deals late in the window, and new stars are always left playing catch up. Hopefully the likes of Clarke and Ndombele can be pictured in mid-July, already getting used to their new team.
