Report: When Ndombele will return for pre-season and how much he is earning

Tottenham Hotspur finally have a new player to factor into their pre-season plans this year, after going 18 months without bringing in any new faces.

Spurs announced the signing of Tanguy Ndombele yesterday, with the Lyon midfielder commanding a club record fee of £53.8m, which could rise to as much as £62.8m after add-ons (BBC).

While Ndombele wasn’t Spurs’ first signing of the day, he will be the first to remain within the Tottenham squad for pre-season as Jack Clarke has gone back out on loan to Leeds United (BBC).

The Metro have now reported that Ndombele has become one of the club’s top earners, by signing a six-year deal at £200,000 per week.

L’Equipe report that Ndombele will return to Spurs for pre-season on July 12, before the first team flies out to Asia for their tour.

Football London believe that the Frenchman could make his non-competitive debut against Juventus on July 21 in Singapore or four days later in Shanghai against Man United.

As for his full debut, the report mentions the first match of the Premier League season against Aston Villa on August 10.
