Report: When Spurs could move into their new stadium

Tottenham Hotspur fans are still waiting for the day they can take their seats in the new stadium for a Premier League fixture.

The original opening date was set for September 15 against Liverpool, but fast forward to almost five months later, and we still have no idea when the ground is set to open.

Fans have been met with delay after delay with every statement released by the club, and will now be wondering whether they will get to play in the new stadium this season at all.

With only 12 Premier League fixtures left, time is running out to have a considerable stint in the ground during the 2018/19 campaign.

Spurs could do with the boost now though, as the atmosphere and attendance around Wembley has been wavering in recent weeks.

Football London analysed the latest press release from Spurs and Daniel Levy, stating that the Arsenal fixture on March 2 would be played at Wembley.

They believe the fact that Tottenham didn’t mention home games against Crystal Palace on March 17 and Brighton on April 6 may mean they are potential targets.

That would mean Spurs need to get two test events in between now and then to pass health and safety regulations.
