Tottenham Hotspur fans have done their share of waiting this season, from the stadium delays to the 18 months without a first-team signing.

Unfortunately, it looks as if the Spurs faithful will be made to wait just that little bit longer for the biggest signing in the club’s history.

Sky Sports have reported that Tottenham have agreed a £65m fee with Lyon for midfield powerhouse Tanguy Ndombele, which would be a club record fee for the Lilywhites.

The Sun also claim that Ndombele has already travelled to London and had a tour around the training facilities, led by none other than Mauricio Pochettino himself. The report added that an announcement is expected ‘shortly’.

But, when will the deal finally go through?

The Daily Mail now claim that Tottenham hope to get the deal completed by the end of this week, meaning that Spurs fans could be treated to an announcement video in the next few days.
