Report: Where Spurs’ Joe Lewis ranks on latest Sunday Times Rich List

The latest Sunday Times Rich List has been revealed and Tottenham’s Joe Lewis has dropped seven places from his position last year.

The Spurs owner was 34th in the 2020 rich list but has now dropped to 41st despite his overall fortune actually increasing in 2021.

Lewis is the current owner of ENIC, the English National Investment Company, which in turn owns 85.5% of Tottenham Hotspur.

The Sunday Times report that, in the last 12 months, Joe Lewis’ fortunate has grown by a whopping £338 million, taking it to a total of around £4.33 billion.

This news will likely be met with more frustration from some Spurs fans after the North London club tried to break away and join a European Super League earlier this season.

Tottenham have a big summer ahead of them and are in desperate need of a rebuild, although it remains to be seen whether Lewis’ fortune will come into play.

Spurs Web Opinion:

It will not. It baffles me why Lewis, as a local boy, doesn’t want to trickle a little more money into the club but I suppose he has every right to run it as a profitable business.
