Report: Who Man United are playing in a friendly ahead of Spurs game

With just a little over a week left until Premier League action resumes, the Spurs stars are being put through their paces in order to get match fit in time for the all-important clash against Manchester United.

Tottenham’s opening game against the Red Devils will not only set the tone for the remaining eight games but it will also have a big say on the Lilywhites’ top-four hopes.

Spurs will play a friendly against Norwich City this Friday to prepare for next week’s clash, in a game that will serve as a good test of the players’ match sharpness.

The Daily Mail have revealed that Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side have opted to go for a lower league test as they will face Championship leaders West Bromwich Albion on Friday.

Slaven Bilic side resume their Championship campaign with a local derby against Birmingham City on June 20, a day after Spurs and Manchester United face off.

Spurs Web Opinion

There is not too much of a difference in quality between West Brom and Norwich despite the latter being in the Premier League. Therefore, the results and performances of both Spurs and United this Friday might serve as a good indication as to the players’ fitness levels ahead of the all-important game on June 19.
