Report: Who Spurs are tipped to move for after Ndombele

Tottenham Hotspur have already been linked to a number of players this transfer window, and it’s no surprise considering they haven’t bought a new star in nearly a year and a half.

The last new signing to walk through the Hotspur Way doors was Lucas Moura way back in January 2018 when he moved from PSG.

Perhaps the strongest link so far this summer transfer window is Spurs’ links to Lyon powerhouse midfielder Tanguy Ndombele.

Some reports over the last day have claimed that Tottenham are close to signing the central midfielder (Sky Sports).

However, Sky Sports have added in their coverage of the rumour that Tottenham are also very keen on signing Monaco playmaker Youri Tielemans.

Tielemans spent the second half of last season on loan at Leicester City, scoring four goals in just 13 appearances for the Foxes.

He has been linked to Spurs throughout the transfer window (Sky Sports), as Pochettino looks to strengthen his side for a trophy push.

Spurs Web Opinion:

I would be happy with Youri Tielemans as a signing if Spurs can get him for £30m. Anything more than that and I think there are more high-profile signings out there. However, it could all come down to whether Christian Eriksen stays or leaves.
