Football.London’s Alasdair Gold has said that Alejo Veliz is unlikely to be at Tottenham next season since the club might not be able to include him in their squad due to his foreign player status.

Tottenham will be regretting their decision to send Veliz on loan to Sevilla as half a year of the youngster’s development has seemingly been wasted.
The striker hardly got a look in at the Andalusian side despite their struggles in front of goal, with Gold pointing out that he played only 29 minutes during his spell at the Ramon Sanchez-Pizjuan Stadium and only 11 minutes since February.
That is certainly a sorry return and perhaps guarantees that that the 20-year-old will not return to Seville again next season but it remains to be seen what the future holds for him.

Tottenham are short on homegrown players at Hotspur Way
Gold has explained that Tottenham are short of homegrown numbers and might struggle to include the young forward in their Europa League squad due to his foreign player status.
He states that the Lilywhites might instead have to find another loan move for the Argentine for the 2024-25 season.
Spurs Web Opinion
There is no doubt that Veliz will be loaned out next season as he needs to be getting competitive minutes under his belt.
At Spurs Web, we have always thought that the youngster would have been better served with a loan spell in the EFL to get used to the demands of the English game.
