Report: Wolves eyeing up replacement for rumoured Spurs target

Wolverhampton Wanderers may have targeted Idrissa Gueye as a potential replacement for reported Spurs target, Ruben Neves, according to Le10 Sport.

The report suggests Wolves are one of two Premier League clubs who could be interested in the Paris Saint Germain midfielder this summer.

In recent days, reports have emerged to suggest Spurs are interested in bringing Neves to N17. (Express).

Manchester United are also reported to be interested in the 23-year-old midfielder, however, Wolves are expected to hold out for a £50million transfer fee. (Express)

The Portuguese midfielder has played a huge part in the success of Nuno Espírito Santo’s side in the past few years.

Ruben Neves would make for a very interesting signing. The youngster has tons of potential but also has already shown huge levels of maturity in his time at Wolves. the reported price tag does leave a lot of questions as to whether this is a deal Spurs can approach seriously. It is likely Spurs must secure Champions League football to make any noteworthy moves this summer.
