Report: Wolves ready to sell player Nuno is keen on bringing to Spurs

The Daily Mail have revealed that Wolves are ready to sell rumoured Tottenham Hotspur target Adama Traore this transfer window.

After impressing in his first couple of seasons at Molineux, Traore failed to hit the same heights last campaign as the West Midlands club limped to a 13th place finish.

Reports first emerged last week that Nuno Espirito Santo could look to tempt the winger to North London but only if the price is right.

This was backed up by Duncan Castles, who hinted on the Transfer Window Podcast that the North London club could move for the Spanish international as a replacement for Lucas Moura if he was sold.

The Mail have now become the latest publication to reveal that Nuno is keen on bringing Traore with him to Spurs.

The report further adds that Wolves are open to letting the 25-year-old leave the club this summer.

It is asserted that the club value the former Middlesbrough man, who has two years left on his contract, at around £45m.

Spurs Web Opinion

While some Spurs fans might turn their noses up at the idea of singing Traore owing to his dip in form last season, I believe the 25-year-old could be a smart addition.

If we can potentially negotiate the transfer fee down to around £35m, the deal could prove to be decent value for money.

Even if Traore does not establish himself as a regular starter, he could come in extremely handy as an impact substitute over the course of the season.
