Report: Wolves star to make an ’emotional return’ to Molineux for Spurs clash

The Telegraph are reporting that Wolves star Raul Jimenez will make an emotional return to the Molineux to watch his side take on Tottenham Hotspur in this evening’s clash.

Tottenham go into the Premier League encounter sitting in eighth place in the table but a win for Jose Mourinho’s men this evening could lift them all the way up to third.

However, the Wolves players will get a boost since Jimenez will be in attendance at the game after recovering from his skull fracture.

The Mexican international was involved in a nasty head collision with Arsenal defender David Luiz back in November.

Thankfully, he has been able to recover from the injury and has already visited the club’s Compton training base to catch up with his teammates.

The Telegraph reveal that the 29-year-old will now return to the Molineux the first time since the nasty injury and will watch the match from a private box.

Jimenez’s absence has been felt by Nuno Espirito Santo’s side over recent weeks, with Wolves winning just one and losing three of their last four games in the former Atletico man’s absence.

It is great to see that Jimenez has made a full recovery after what was an extremely nasty incident back in November. Wolves still posses a goal threat with the likes of Pedro Neto and Daniel Podence but there is no doubt that the home side not having Jimenez available will be a boost for Jose Mourinho’s men.
