Report: Young attacking Spurs target keen to leave current club

Tottenham Hotspur know all about the Eredivisie leaders PSV, as they started off as a Champions League nemesis, but turned into Dutch heroes for the Lilywhites.

Spurs were held to a draw in their group stage match away to PSV earlier in the season, leaving them with only a point from three games, and joint last in the group.

However, PSV went from villain to hero as they also held Inter Milan to a draw in the final game week, sending Spurs through to the next round.

Now, a fresh report has surfaced claiming that Spurs are interested in PSV’s young attacker Steven Bergwijn.

The forward has been in blistering form this season, scoring 10 goals and grabbing 11 assists across the campaign.

Voetbal Primeur now report that Bergwijn is keen to ply his trade elsewhere next season, as he looks to progress through his career.

The Sun reported that Tottenham, West Ham and Bournemouth were all interested in January.
