Report: Youngster is ‘waiting’ for Tottenham to make a decision on his future

According to a report in Slobodna Dalmacija (as translated by Sport Witness), Luka Vuskovic is now waiting for Tottenham to make a decision on his future.

Spurs reached an agreement with Hajduk Split over the transfer of Vuskovic back in September after the centre-back broke into the Croatian club’s first-team last year and turned many heads with his performances

The North London club announced at the time that the 16-year-old would arrive at Hotspur Way in 2025, with the club revealing that the youngster had put pen to paper on a contract in N17 that runs until 2030.

Rules do not allow Vuskovic to play for Spurs until he turns 18 (Football.London), which is why he was loaned back to Hajduk.

Tottenham to now make a decision on Vuskovic

Slobodna Dalmacija have revealed that the player is now waiting for Spurs to decide on whether he can stay with at Stadion Poljud beyond January.

The report says that the centre-back would be part of Hajduk’s youth team if he stays but it is alleged that the Lilywhites might decide to loan him out to a different club this month.

The publication adds that Vuskovic will continue training with the Croatian club for the time being until the defender and Spurs make a decision on his next club.

Given that Vuskovic has not featured for Hajduk’s first team since completing his move to Spurs, the North London club could decide to potentially loan him out to a different team in the Croatian top flight so that he continues getting competitive minutes under his belt.
