Reported Spurs summer target said to be available for just £13m in January

Tottenham Hotspur have been short on strikers so far this season, with Harry Kane the only senior out-and-out centre-forward at the club.

While Troy Parrott is an emerging talent and the likes of Lucas Moura and Heung Min Son can act as strikers, Spurs lack a real forward to come off the bench.

Fernando Llorente left the club on a free in the summer while Vincent Janssen was sold after a nightmare couple of years in North London.

However, Spurs were linked to Real Madrid player Mariano Diaz in July, with AS claiming that Tottenham were keen on signing him.

In another update this week, El Desmarque have now claimed that the same player will be made available for just £13m in the January transfer window.

Zidane has already sold the striker once as Real Madrid manager, with the club re-signing him during the Frenchman’s period away from the club.

Could he be on the way out again?

Spurs Web Opinion:

Any decent striker for £13m sounds good to me at the moment. Spurs need depth and they need to be able to rest Harry Kane safe in the knowledge that someone else can come in.
