Reported Spurs target dubbed ‘English Arjen Robben’ after hitting 20 goals this season

Tottenham Hotspur have been linked with a number of Championship stars this season, but perhaps none more so than Hull City attacker Jarrod Bowen (talkSPORT).

The Hull man had yet another incredible game this week, scoring a first half brace in a 2-2 draw against Queens Park Rangers in the Championship.

Despite Hull only being 12th in the League, these two goals represent Bowen’s 20th and 21st of the season, a staggering tally with many games left to play.

This puts the 22-year-old as the third highest scoring player in the entire League.

He also set a Hull City record by scoring in his eighth consecutive home match, an honour that was previously held by Bill Bradbury back in 1959.

The Tigers definitely seem to have a real player on their hands in Bowen, and with promotion now unlikely, they may find it difficult to hang on to him this summer.

One Hull fan has even dubbed the Spurs target as ‘The English Arjen Robben’, high praise indeed.
