Tottenham Hotspur have been crying out for a back up to Harry Kane for some time now, and Luka Jovic is proving he may just be that man.
Last month Calcio Mercato reported that Tottenham were keen on bringing the forward to their new stadium.
Fast forward to mid-November and HITC report Jovic has scored nine league goals for his club Eintracht Frankfurt.
Frankfurt sit in fourth place in the Bundesliga table, on level points with Bayern Munich, but Jovic personally is the top goal scorer in the entire league.
The Serbian striker has another three goals in cup competitions too.
Jovic is on loan from Benfica at the moment, and the main danger for Spurs may be his form pricing them out of a move.
Short of Benfica terminating his current loan deal and selling to Spurs in January, Tottenham will have to wait until the summer to move for him.
The 20-year-old is one of the most promising young strikers out there, and just imagine what Spurs could do with two top scorers in their team.
