Reported Spurs target previously stated desire to win the Premier League with Leeds United

Calciomercato are reporting that Tottenham are interested in Norwegian wonderkid Erling Braut Haaland from Red Bull Salzburg.

The 19-year-old has been lighting up the Austrian League this season with eleven goals and five assists in just eight games. He has also shown that he can score on the world’s biggest stage, with four goals in two Champions League games.

The striker has drawn comparisons to Zlatan Ibrahimovic this season due to his stature and goal-scoring ability. However, Spurs would be likely to face competition for the striker, with Liverpool and Manchester United also chasing the striker.

Surprisingly, Haaland stated in the past that his dream is to win the Premier League with Leeds United. He is the son of ex-Leeds defender Alf-Inge Haaland and was born in the city, which has led to him supporting the club.

Halaand’s goal numbers are incredible and he has all the potential to be a brilliant partner to Harry Kane. Tottenham would face fierce competition for the youngster but if they could land him he would be a great investment. He would also be a perfect Pochettino signing, who has preferred to buy youth players during his time at the club.
