Reported Spurs target tells agent he would love to work with Jose Mourinho

Tottenham Hotspur have been linked with a move for Fenerbahce centre-forward Vedat Muriqi throughout the season, after the striker has impressed in Turkey.

The Kosovan forward has managed eleven goals and four assists in 17 games for Fenerbahce so far this season, while also scoring against Kane and England for Kosovo in the EURO 2020 qualifiers last year (TransferMarkt).

It was reported only last week that Spurs had an offer rejected for the centre-forward.

Aksam have now reported that Muriqi has told his agent that he is flattered by interest from European clubs, but he would like to stay and become a champion with his current side.

Muriqi apparently added that bids will be delayed until the end of the season, while he would love to work under Jose Mourinho, the current Spurs boss.

Fenerbahce are said to value the striker at around €25m, a vast increase from the €3.5 they reportedly paid for him last summer.
