Reported Spurs target’s asking price has now dropped to just £13m – Journalist

RMC Sport journalist Sacha Tavolieri says that Leeds United have dropped their asking price for rumoured Tottenham target Pascal Struijk.

Struijk has formed an impressive partnership with on-loan Spurs star Joe Rodon in the heart of Leeds’ defence, with Daniel Farke’s men boasting an impressive defensive record in the Championship.

It was claimed by Leeds Live earlier this week that the 24-year-old’s performances this season are turning a lot of heads, with Tottenham being among those keeping an eye on him.

The outlet suggested that the Lilywhites were considering a move for the Dutch centre-back after the injury to his compatriot, Micky van de Ven.

Leeds asking price for Pascal Struijk is just £13m

Tavolieri has now said that Struijk has also emerged as a target for Club Brugge ahead of the January window.

The journalist added that the Ajax youth academy product is in favour of moving to the Belgian giants in January, and asserted that Leeds’ asking price for the player has now dropped from €18m (£15.7m) €15m (£13.1m).

Tavolieri told Unibet Belgium YouTube channel: “Pascal Struijk arouses the interest of Club Brugge again ahead of the January transfer window.

“Club Brugge has created a list of centre-back (targets), and Pascal Struijk is part of it. He would be interested (in joining Brugge). And, on top of that, the price has dropped from 18 million euros in the summer to 15 million euros.”

Spurs Web Opinion

At this point, not too many reliable outlets have suggested that Struijk is one of the options at the top of Tottenham’s wishlist.

All indications are that Spurs are looking at a similar list of centre-backs they pursued in the summer, even though there have been some big changes to their recruitment department.
