Reported Tottenham target now has 27 goals in just 18 games this season

Tottenham Hotspur are struggling for flair and dominance in games this season, something that reported target, Erling Haaland, is certainly not lacking since the start of the new campaign.

The 19-year-old now has a whopping 27 goals in 18 matches for his club, Red Bull Salzburg, so far this season (BBC). In this time, he has scored five hat-tricks, including one in the Champions League.

Seven of his total goals have come in the Champions League and he even scored against Liverpool at Anfield.

At the under-20 World Cup back in May, Haaland hit the headlines after scoring nine for Norway in a 12-0 win over Honduras.

The Daily Star reported earlier in the season that Tottenham were keen on signing the teenager, along with Liverpool, Man United, and Juventus. However, there are probably few European clubs not keeping an eye on the starlet now.

The report claims that Haaland is putting huge pressure on his Austrian club, who can’t match his ambitions, so could we see him at Spurs in the future?
