Multiple reports in the British press over the last twenty four hours are indicating that Mauricio Pochettino might be edging closer to parting ways with Tottenham.
The Telegraph reported last week that the Spurs hierarchy feared that the current season might not be salvageable if the results continue to be poor in the coming weeks and thus were considering sacking the Argentine.
Now the same publication has reported that the 47-year-old held crunch talks b with Daniel Levy over the international break and that the Spurs players were exchanging messages about his future amidst worries that his time at the club was up.
It is claimed that the former Southampton boss has little chance of making it to the end of the current campaign as the club are already looking at potential replacements.
The Daily Mail also claims that discussions over an exit strategy for Pochettino have already taken place and that it is only a matter of time before he leaves the club.
Saturday’s London derby against West Ham United will reportedly be a make or break game for the Tottenham manager with Eddie Howe, Julian Nagelsmann and Carlo Ancelotti said to be lined up as potential replacements.

The fact that multiple publications are reporting that there were crunch talks seems to indicate that perhaps something has happened during an international break. It looks like the game against West Ham could be the biggest one of his managerial career so far. Hopefully, the players will put in a performance for him as they likely realise what is at stake.
