Manchester United are considering rejoining the race for Tottenham Hotspur’s Christian Eriksen, according to reports. (Daily Star)
United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has reportedly told Ed Woodward to complete their third signing this week as his side returns to training today.
United’s main target is still Sean Longstaff from Newcastle United for a fee of around £15m. (Metro)
Solskjaer has told his superiors to meet the £20m asking price set on the youngster by the Magpies in order to integrate his signings quickly before the new season starts.
However, a move for the reported wantaway Spurs midfielder could still be on the cards.
Eriksen has been heavily linked with a move away from Spurs with Real Madrid reportedly the main contenders in a bid to secure his signature. (Marca)
The 27-year-old has reportedly refused to sign a new deal with the Londoners and he has stated in an interview with Ekstra Bladet he is seeking a “new challenge”.

Eriksen’s desire to move away this summer is no secret, however, it would be highly unlikely for a player like himself to drop from a side playing Champions League football to a side in the second tier of European football.
