According to various reports in Italy, Juventus are prepared to sell Samuel Iling-Junior in the January transfer window for around €15-20m (£12.9-17.3m), with Premier League clubs ready to swoop.
Iling-Junior moved from Chelsea’s youth set-up to the Italian giants back in 2020 but has struggled for game time of late and is keen to move on to rectify this (Il Bianconero).
Tottenham, of course, are in the market for new players in January to add further squad depth to ease their injury problems, and a wide attacker is thought to be on the shopping list for Ange Postecoglou.
A recent report from Football Insider claimed Spurs were ready to ‘accelerate’ their pursuit of the England Under-21 international ahead of the January transfer window opening. It’s also believed the North London club were scouting Iling-Junior in the recent international break (CalcioMercato).

Now, the youngster is covered in a number of Italian reports of late, with suggestions over where his future might lie predominantly leading back to Tottenham.
CalcioMercato claim Spurs “like” Iling-Junior, and it is thought Juventus have essentially placed the player on their transfer list ahead of the winter window.
Meanwhile, the latest from Tutto Juve suggests Juventus are pretty keen to sell Iling-Junior as they look to bring in “fresh money” to sign new players.
And finally, CalcioMercato touch on the value of the player, with a fee between €15-20m cited. The outlet claims Premier League clubs are willing, too.

I’m not totally convinced on this one. Samuel Iling-Junior is a young, talented player, but I just don’t think he’s the solution to our needs. We need someone a little more experienced – still young, but with a bit more pedigree in the game.
