Resident blasts inconsiderate Spurs star for waking up his children on Christmas morning

Tottenham Hotspur winger Lucas Moura has issued an apology to his neighbours after holding a fireworks display in the early hours of the morning at his home in London.

The Sun claim that the Brazilian held a Christmas Eve party at his home which went into the early hours of Christmas Day.

Fireworks were heard going off in an outdoor fireworks display which lasted until around 2 am and infuriated local residents.

One individual, who lives directly behind Moura was unimpressed that the player had woken his children who were sleeping at the time.

The un-named resident told The Sun: “The party started on Christmas Eve and the fireworks started at around 1am on Christmas morning and it lasted nearly an hour.

“I’d just put my children to bed. They’re only 10 and 11 and it woke them up.

“Me and my wife had to then get all the presents sorted and we didn’t get back to sleep until after 3am because of it.

“I thought it was really inconsiderate. It really upset me that he thinks he can do it. He must know it will annoy people but I don’t think he cares.
