Richarlison reacts with funny social media post after scoring brace for Brazil

Richarlison has taken to social media after netting a brace for Brazil in their 3-0 win over Ghana on Friday.

The Brazilian has started the season in impressive form since his big-money move from Everton in the summer and has demonstrated already that he offers something different from Tottenham’s other forward options.

The 25-year-old already has four goal contributions to his name in all competitions for Spurs (Transfermarkt) and on Saturday, he carried that form to the international scene, netting a first-half brace as the Selecao brushed Ghana aside.

The Tottenham man took his first goal brilliantly as he curled a first-time shot into the bottom corner from the edge of the box after being found in a pocket of space by Neymar.

Neymar also set up Richarlison’s second as the Paris Saint-Germain star’s free-kick was met with a glancing header by the forward.

Richarlison is known for his hilarious posts on social media and he certainly did not disappoint yesterday.

Following the win, the Spurs star as he cropped himself into a police car along with the caption: “If scoring for the national team was a crime”, with a hip-hop tune playing.

These sorts of reactions are what make Richarlison so relatable. Modern-day football is full of media-trained professionals always saying the right thing but the 25-year-old is evidently quite off the cuff, and he has a child-like innocence about him.
