Richarlison has sent a heartfelt goodbye message to Everton fans after securing a move to Tottenham.
The Brazil international, 25, completed a switch to Spurs on Friday worth up to £60 million including add-ons on a long-term contract until 2027 (The Guardian).
Richarlison played an instrumental role in keeping Everton in the Premier League last season, netting 10 goals and providing five assists in the process (Transfermarkt).
And in leaving the Toffees after a four-year stint at Goodison Park, he sent a farewell message to the club’s supporters.
He said on Twitter: “It’s very difficult to say goodbye to a place that has become my home; of fans who welcomed me not just as another player, but as if I were one of them, in the stands; and a club that treated me kindly and helped me develop my sense of community and empathy.
“No words and not all the love I have for this club is enough to thank you. We’ll see you along the way! I love you Evertonians.”
Richarlison has become the fourth arrival for Antonio Conte this summer after Yves Bissouma and free transfers Ivan Perisic and Fraser Forster.

The former Watford forward is expected to now join up with the squad before jetting off to South Korea for pre-season on July 9 (Football.London).

Richarlison is a good addition to the squad and will give Conte another weapon to use at his disposal up front. He is such a hard-working player which is why Everton fans warmed to him so much and that should rub off onto the others too.
