Tottenham legend Robbie Keane has weighed in on Ange Postecoglou’s future, and he believes that Daniel Levy has an obvious decision ahead of him this summer.
Tottenham fans are still waiting on communication from the club regarding their managerial situation, with reports claiming that Daniel Levy is yet to decide whether to appoint a new head coach.
It was claimed by several sources last week that the expectation at Spurs is for Postecoglou to be sacked, but the tide seems to be turning over the last 48 hours.
On Saturday, Gianluca Di Marzio suggested that the chances of Postecoglou remaining at Tottenham next season had increased as the Lilywhites hierarchy continued to carefully assess their options.

Robbie Keane sends Ange Postecoglou message to Daniel Levy
Keane, who just won the Hungarian league as the manager of Ferencvaros, has now said that even though Tottenham have had a poor league season, Postecoglou has delivered what he promised.
The Spurs legend sympathised with the Australian for the injury situation he has had to deal with this season and suggested that the 59-year-old deserves the chance to build on the Europa League win.
The Irishman told talkSPORT: “To be honest with you, it’s been a poor season like Man United for Tottenham, certainly in the league. There’s no getting away from that. I think everybody, certainly the managers, admitted that.
“But I tell you what – as someone who’s played for Spurs, and my two kids are Spurs fans, I don’t think anyone cared at the end, because winning the trophy – at the end of the day it’s about winning.
“He’s got a lot of stick, Ange, and to be fair to him, he’s backed it up by his comment that he made about the second season and he put himself under a lot of pressure but he’s done it.
“So I think now – give him time. The Tottenham fans have been desperate for this for a long (time) – as you said, 17 years since we won – give him time, give him the chance to build again, to build again.
“The injuries – I’m a manager now, I know what it’s like when you’re missing two or three key players. It can affect the team – especially when you’re missing two big centre-backs, that’s key to your success.”
Why the Tottenham board face a difficult choice
By all accounts, Tottenham are expected to make some big moves this summer after their coffers were boosted as a result of Champions League qualification.
The big question facing Levy and the Tottenham board is whether they give those funds to Postecoglou as there is a big risk of wasting those funds if the team’s league form does not improve next season.
If Tottenham do have the resources for a mini-rebuild this summer, now would be the time to bring in a new manager and go in a different direction.
