Robbie Savage makes Spurs top four prediction – No Liverpool or Arsenal

Robbie Savage has predicted that Tottenham will finish in the Premier League top four this season, but there will be no place for Liverpool or Arsenal.

This comes after Tottenham have made an unbeaten start to the 2022/23 campaign, despite already playing away at London rivals Chelsea and West Ham.

Arsenal remain top of the league on 15 points following their defeat at Old Trafford on Sunday, but Savage believes they will fall short of the top four come the end of the campaign.

Liverpool are currently in seventh, six points off the top spot, and the pundit also argued that Jurgen Klopp’s men will miss out on Champions League qualification next season.

Savage named Man City, Spurs, Chelsea and Man United as his current favourites for the top four positions in the league now that the transfer window is closed. He even added that the Red Devils have a better squad than Liverpool.

He said (BBC Radio 5 Live’s 606 programme – 04/09/22): “Transfer window is closed, right now my top four is Man City, Spurs, Chelsea and Man Utd – no Arsenal, no Liverpool. They’ve transformed and Man Utd have a better squad than Liverpool.”

Spurs Web Opinion:

I can’t say I agree with Robbie Savage here, but I also admit the top four is near impossible to call this season. With the World Cup in the middle of the campaign, it really is going to be luck of the draw how your squad looks come January.
