A new report has revealed what Roberto De Zerbi is thinking about taking over as Tottenham’s head coach with immediate effect, rather than waiting until the summer.
It has been widely reported that De Zerbi is Tottenham’s dream permanent managerial target, and the Lilywhites would have initially hoped they had until the summer to strike an agreement with the Italian.
However, Spurs may be forced into an early managerial change, with reports indicating that Igor Tudor may be on his way out of Tottenham.
Some outlets have suggested over the last couple of days that De Zerbi would only be interested in taking over at Spurs in the summer if they stay in the Premier League.

Roberto De Zerbi is willing to accept Tottenham job immediately
The I Paper is now reporting that the Italian coach is ready to ‘get his hands dirty’ and take on the Spurs job, even though the Lilywhites sit just a point off the relegation zone.
The Spurs chiefs are now considering bringing De Zerbi through the door immediately in an attempt to re-energise the squad in their pursuit to fight off relegation.
The former Brighton boss’s willingness to take the role has given Spurs ‘a serious decision to make’ over the coming days.
Man United’s interest in De Zerbi has cooled, and the feeling among his camp is that he is no longer a candidate for the role.
With the former Marseille manager keen to return to the Premier League, it is asserted that he would ‘relish’ the opportunity to take charge of Spurs.
What De Zerbi is thinking about Spurs’ relegation fight
The I Paper claim that while other managers have been reluctant to take charge of Tottenham, given the club’s current predicament, De Zerbi is not intimidated by the challenge of keeping the club in the Premier League.
Suggestions that he wants a break until the end of the season after exiting the Orange Vélodrome are said to be ‘wide of the mark’.
The outlet adds that the 46-year-old is ‘refreshed and ready to get stuck into his next job’, and ‘things could move quickly’ at Spurs, who have had discussions over a managerial change.
