Robin Risser has made his stance on his future clear amid speculation linking him with a move to Tottenham Hotspur.
Some reports have suggested that Guglielmo Vicario has already said ‘yes’ to joining Inter Milan, who are plotting a £12m offer for the Tottenham number one.
The Lilywhites are thus likely to be in the market for a new goalkeeper this summer, and the club have seemingly already begun identifying possible transfer targets.
A young French goalkeeper has caught Tottenham’s eye, and the player has now directly addressed the speculation over his future.

Robin Risser hands Tottenham a big transfer blow
It was reported last month that Spurs had identified Lens’ Robin Risser as the man to take over the gloves from Vicario.
The outlet claimed that the Lilywhites had already launched ‘concrete enquiries’ for the 21-year-old, who has been one of the standout goalkeepers in Ligue 1 this season.
However, the youngster has now handed Spurs a blow by making it clear that he has no intention of leaving Lens this summer.
When asked about the speculation over his future, Risser told Jeunes Footeux: “I’m under contract with the club until 2030. I’m determined to stay here. I feel really at home here. Both my wife and I have found a sense of stability here. Every morning, when I come to the club, I can’t wait to pull on this shirt and train.
“I don’t think I’ve reached the end of my journey here. Especially as we’ve got a magnificent end to the season ahead of us. Next season, I think there are also, and I hope so, great things in store for us, provided we finish this season strongly. I’m not thinking about anywhere else.”
“For me, I feel privileged to be here. It’s important to honour this shirt right to the end. We’ll see where that takes us. I’m convinced that next year, I’ll be wearing this shirt.”
Two Premier League goalkeepers on Spurs’ radar
The goalkeeper most heavily linked with a move to Tottenham is James Trafford, who is expected to leave Man City in search of regular game time.
Spurs are battling Aston Villa and Newcastle United for the England international, who faces a big decision over his future over the coming weeks.
Additionally, it has also been claimed that De Zerbi could look to reunite with Bart Verbruggen at Spurs, with the Italian being the one who took the Dutchman to Brighton back in 2023.
