Some Tottenham Hotspur fans have taken to Twitter to share their reaction to the team selection for this evening’s Carabao Cup quarter final tie against West Ham United.
This will be the ninth League Cup tie between Tottenham and West Ham, with each side progressing from four of the previous eight. The most recent encounter saw Tottenham win 3-1 at the London Stadium in 2018-19 (fourth round).
Tottenham are looking to reach the semi-finals of the League Cup for the 17th time – only Liverpool (17 before this season) have reached the last four of the competition so often and will be looking to go one better than last year when they lost to Manchester City in the final.
Antonio Conte has made six changes from the side which drew 2-2 with Liverpool on Sunday. Doherty, Reguilon, Skipp, Hojbjerg, Moura and Bergwijn come in for Royal, Sessegnon, Winks, Dele, Ndombele and Son.
