Tottenham have been linked with Porto star Hector Herrera for some months now, with Calciomercato tipping them to make a move for the player in January.
Spurs failed to sign a single player in the January transfer window, but with a dwindling squad hit by injury, Pochettino may be forced to dip into the market.
talkSPORT claim Tottenham are expected to offload Mousa Dembele when his contract runs out at the end of the season, leaving a huge hole in the Spurs central midfield.
The 28-year old midfielder Herrera is known for his steely defensive work and tireless running in the centre of the park.
Roma are also said to be interested in the centre mid, and are lining up a 15 million Euro bid for the player come January, that’s according to Corriere dello Sport.
You would think Spurs could afford to go a tad higher than 15, but Daniel Levy won’t want anything but a bargain in January.
[Il Corriere dello Sport] report Roma are ready to offer €15M to sign Tottenham Hotspur target Hector Herrera in the January transfer window.
