Brazil legend Ronaldinho has wished Tottenham trio Richarlison, Lucas Moura and Emerson Royal the best of luck ahead of the upcoming campaign.
Spurs’ Brazilian contingent bumped into Ronaldinho ahead of their flight to Israel, where they take on Roma in their final pre-season fixture of the summer this evening.
The Barcelona icon said it was a ‘pleasure’ for him to come across his fellow compatriots before wishing them well for the season ahead.
Translated from Portuguese, he said on Instagram: “A pleasure to meet these stars!!! Success in the season my friends.”
Tottenham will be hoping Ronaldinho’s message translates onto the pitch, having made great strides off it so far this summer.
Six new players have been added to Antonio Conte’s squad with the biggest coming in the form of Richarlison, who completed a switch worth £60 million from Everton (The Guardian).
