Former Tottenham forward Ronny Rosenthal has issued a warning to his former club about the relegation battle after they registered two back-to-back wins and moved out of the bottom three.
Even when his side were in an extremely precarious position a couple of weeks ago, De Zerbi insisted that he believes Tottenham will stay up.
In fact, after seeing his side drop two points at home against Brighton, the Tottenham boss confidently asserted that his side can win all of their last five league games.
That seemed like wishful thinking at the time, but following back-to-back away wins at the Midlands, Spurs fans now have good reason to believe that the Italian believed what he was saying.

Tottenham warned that they still have a big chance of being relegated
According to Opta’s Supercomputer, West Ham are now big favourites to join Burnley and Wolves in the Championship next season.
That prediction is perhaps down to the fact that Tottenham have an easier fixture list on paper than the Hammers do.
However, Ronny Rosenthal has now warned his former club that they are not out of trouble yet, claiming they still stand a 40 per cent chance of going down.
When asked about Spurs’ chance of surviving, the pundit told Flash Score: “Of course, it’s a crazy situation for Tottenham, but after the last win against Villa, I think they have maybe a 40% chance of going down, and 60% to stay up. They obviously have to beat Leeds to stand a chance, and hope that West Ham don’t win. There’s still a chance for them to forget this horrible season.”
Rosenthal has noticed a positive sign regarding Roberto De Zerbi
However, the former Spurs man admitted that he is seeing one sign that bodes well for the Lilywhites’ chances of avoiding relegation.
He claimed that De Zerbi has tightened up the Tottenham defence, knowing full well that the Lilywhites are short of quality in attack.
When asked if the win at Villa Park could be a turning point for Spurs, Rosenthal responded: “I think so, yes. It seems to me that tactically, the new manager understands the defensive side of the game because he knows he doesn’t have a top team, and he cannot kill off games.”
