Rose cites Bale example

Danny Rose

Danny Rose has named Gareth Bale as an inspiration for him and hopes he can follow his example to cement his own place in the side.

Rose made his name with a phenomenal 35-yard volley against Arsenal last season, but has otherwise found his first-team opportunities limited.

But he has found himself inspired by Bale and hopes to follow in his footsteps and make his own mark next season.

“I’ve been training hard for a good few weeks and I just want to prove to the manager and all the fans that I’m good enough to be part of his plans this season.

“You see Gareth Bale on the left and he gives 100 per cent in every game, so I just try to be like him and hopefully I can have a season like he did.”

  1. i think him and bostock both want the same thing but rose has gone about it in a better manner i agree with bostock and what he was saying but he should have been a bit more careful with the way he said it . but anyway i thought rose has been impressive in pre season he seems very mature and a bright lad i hope he gets a chance as i would the likes of walker bostock parret naughton caulker townsend and obika i would much rather we let them develop then bring in the likes of bellamy cole or parker to stunt this lots growth plus o'hara tarrabt and gio all coming in then all we need is a centre back and a big striker in the drogba sort of mould get shot of crouch hutton keane jenas
