Rumour Mill: Palace Plotting Move For Vorm?

Crystal Palace are reportedly mulling over a bid for 33 year old Spurs reserve Michel Vorm, in manager Frank De Boer’s search for a new goalkeeper.

After having allowed Steve Mandanda to return to French club Marseille back in July, Crystal Palace gaffer Frank De Boer has been hunting for the 32 year old’s replacement ever since.

Over the course of the Summer transfer window, Palace have been linked with a number of shot-stoppers, including Roma’s Lukasz Skorupski and West Ham’s Adrian.

Now, according to SkySources, De Boer’s search for a new number 1 has lead him to Tottenham’s veteran ‘keeper Michel Vorm.

It has been suggested that Paulo Gazzaniga’s recent arrival at Spurs may pave the way for Vorm’s departure, as the Dutchman would likely leave Tottenham if given game-time assurances by an interested club.

Spurs confirmed the signing of Gazzaniga yesterday and the 25 year old Argentinian is expected to be Pochettino’s long term replacement for Spurs skipper Hugo Lloris.

Do you think it’s Vorm’s time to find a new club? What fee do you think he would command?
