According to The Daily Mail, Tottenham Hotspur are cooling their interest in 17 year old Manchester City youth player Jadon Sancho.
The winger has been linked with a transfer to Spurs for over a month now, while it has also been suggested by SkySources that Tottenham tried to secure the signing of Jadon Sancho during the negotiations over defender Kyle Walker, however City were unwilling to see the teenager leave.
Recently, Tottenham’s Premier League rivals Arsenal and Manchester United have also been linked with the youngster, while ESPN had reported that Sancho had been desperate for a move for months with his preferred destination Mauricio Pochettino’s Spurs.
Now, The Daily Mail reports that Tottenham have cooled their interest in the promising young talent, whereas German outfit Borussia Dortmund appear to be stepping up their pursuit of the Englishman.
Though he is yet to make his debut in the Premier League, the 17 year old has massively impressed with Manchester City’s development team, having also featured for the England Under 17s.
With the transfer deadline fast approaching, it appears unlikely that Spurs will be able to successfully reopen their interest with time rapidly running out.
