Reports in today’s press are claiming that Tottenham Hotspur are planning to make an offer for Manchester United defender Rio Ferdinand in the summer.
It does seem very unlikely that the defender would swap Old Trafford for White Hart Lane, especially since he earns around £130,000-a-week, which Spurs would have difficulty in matching.
Ferdinand has suffered with indiferrent form this season and could even be dropped for United’s game against Blackburn tomorrow.
The 31-year-old currently has three-and-half years left on his United contract.

hes past his best, and hes an absolute cretin, they can keep him
This guy is one of the most over rated defenders of his generation. Good in possession but always liable to lose concentration and make a costly mistake. I’d take a crocked Ledley King any day of the week
NO. NOT IN A MILLION YEARS.
