Rumoured Spurs target distances himself with an exit from current club

Blackburn Rovers midfielder Bradley Dack has spoken about the rumours linking him with a possible move away from the club.

The 24-year-old only made the switch to Ewood Park from Gillingham last year for £750,000 and his impressive displays in the Championship are said to have caught the attention of Tottenham Hotspur.

Dack has already scored six goals and two assists in the Championship this season, as well as two goals and three assists in the EFL Cup.

Mauricio Pochettino has already stated his intention to try and bolster his squad in the January transfer window, but Dack is keeping his feet on the ground by insisting that he is happy at Blackburn.

Such is the potential of the midfielder, England boss Gareth Southgate watched him during Rovers league encounter with Derby County last month.

He told The Sun: “I could have left Blackburn but I’m way happier now than the time I could have left Gillingham,”

“It’s a massive a massive club, I love being here, everything is here to go to the next level.

“I had conversations with the manager and the club and they said they didn’t want me to leave.

“So I told them I’ll leave it with you, I want to stay, I won’t kick up a fuss.

“I want to be here and if an offer comes in they accept it, then it out of my hands then it becomes my decision.

“I will always back my ability, I think I can go to the top level, and hopefully that will be with Blackburn.”
