Ryan Mason provides update on Harry Kane ahead of Carabao Cup Final

Ryan Mason has revealed that he still does not know whether Harry Kane will be available for the Carabao Cup Final this weekend against Man City.

The interim Spurs head coach claimed that the striker is currently taking it day by day ahead of the trip to Wembley on Sunday.

Tottenham will be hoping to end their 13-year trophy drought this week with their last piece of silverware coming in 2008 in the Carling Cup.

Kane only just made it back for the Champions League Final in 2019 and struggled throughout the game due to a lack of sharpness. Spurs will be hoping that lightning doesn’t strike twice for their talisman.

However, Spurs also have a match in the Premier League against Southampton tomorrow night, Mason’s first game in charge since being named as interim boss.

The Tottenham academy graduate will be hoping to get off to winning ways following the sacking of Jose Mourinho yesterday morning.
