Ryan Mason sends message after being added to Conte coaching team at Spurs

Ryan Mason has shared an Instagram post expressing his delight over joining Antonio Conte’s coaching staff at Tottenham.

Mason spent six weeks in charge of Tottenham last season on an interim basis following Jose Mourinho’s dismissal, but stepped aside once Nuno Espirito Santo was hired as the club’s coach in the summer.

The 30-year-old reverted to his last role as the academy’s head of development, but Spurs have now confirmed that he will return to the first team to join the former Chelsea boss Conte’s staff as a coach.

Mason has since shared a message on social media expressing his delight to be promoted as a first-team coach ahead of the club’s ‘new chapter’.

He will work alongside the Italian tactician’s assistant Cristian Stellini, who also worked with Conte at Inter Milan, while Gianluca Conte, Constantino Coratti, Gian Piero Ventrone and Stefano Bruno all make up his other staff members.

Coratti, Ventrone and Bruno will head the club’s fitness regime, while Conte’s brother Gianluca will take up a role as technical and analytics coach.

All Spurs fans should be delighted with this move from the club, as Mason has worked so hard to get to this point with everything that has happened in his career.

He will gain such a vast amount of knowledge and experience by working with Conte and his team, which is something we should be looking forward to.
