Ryan Sessegnon sums up first training appearance for Hoffenheim in just three words

Ryan Sessegnon took to Twitter yesterday after he took part in his first training session with Hoffenheim.

The left-back made the move to Germany earlier this month on a season long loan deal from Tottenham Hotspur after finding first team opportunities in North London to be very few and far between.

The 20-year-old only managed to make 12 appearances in all competitions last season following his move from Fulham, scoring one goal which came in the Champions League group stage defeat at Bayern Munich in December (transfermarkt).

Sessegnon could make his Bundesliga debut when Hoffenheim host Jadon Sancho’s Borussia Dortmund this afternooon.

The arrival of Sergio Reguilón and Gareth Bale from Real Madrid is likely to have affected Sessegnon’s chances of playing regularly under Jose Mourinho this season and instead decided to make the move to Germany.

Spurs are still said to believe that Sessegnon has a bright future at the club and he will now look to make his mark on the German top flight (Guardian).
