Jose Mourinho has resisted the urge to make big changes to the side after their 2-1 defeat at the hands of Manchester United on Wednesday.
He has kept faith with the same players and makes just one change to the starting line up for the game against Burnley – Eric Dier comes back into the side in place of Harry Winks, who is out with an injury.
The Portuguese tactician has once again opted to go with a forward line of Harry Kane, Dele Alli, Son Heung-min and Lucas Moura, despite the team lacking quality going forward at Old Trafford.
The club also confirmed that Tanguy Ndombele misses the game with a groin problem after putting in a tidy cameo off the bench on Wednesday.
Some Spurs fans were particularly concerned about the injuries to Ndombele and Winks and hoped that they would make a swift return.
No Ndombele, Lo Celso or Sessegnon (though he's at least made the bench this time) ?. #COYS #THFC https://t.co/EmkksoD0gz

Is Ndombele’s groin made of glass? Constantly in an out the squad

Ndombele just hasn’t been able to get going so far. Hopefully these injury problems are down to adapting to a new league rather than anything to worry about long-term. https://t.co/qjYD03dvCB

Spurs Web Opinion
The frustrating thing about Ndombele’s injuries is that they have stopped him from building any momentum. It is obvious that he has a lot of talent but he needs to have a consistent run in the side in order to get used to English football and our style of playing. It looks like this season might end up being a write off for the 22-year-old.
